Another lovely week at Endmoor. Cottage is always clean and comfy. A bonus this year was the lovely weather – we’ve done lots of walking and sight  seeing.  Everytime we come to the Peak District we find something and somewhere new! We will be back again.

Well Dressing Blog

Spring is here and that can only mean one thing to anyone living in Derbyshire… Well Dressing.

The Well Dressing season is well underway and we are amazed at all of the beautiful, creative designs that we have seen so far this season.

Well Dressings in Tissington started at the beginning of the month, with wells being decorated using petals, clays and coffee beans amongst other items. The themes this year vary compared to previous years, with tributes being paid to the Queen’s 90^th birthday, the 150-year anniversary of Beatrix Potters birth and the ancient game of Shrovetide Football to name a few.

In the coming months there are a number of Well Dressing events to look forward to across the Derbyshire including:

• June 12^th-18^th – Marston Montgomey
• July 2^nd-10^th– Chapel en le frith
• August 20^th-26^th – Taddington
• September 10^th– 17^th – Chesterfield
