The caravan park is ideally located on the edge of the stunning Peak District, near the village of Chelmorton, a short drive to the market town of Bakewell and spa town of Buxton. This does mean that we’re quite close to a busy road, we like to be upfront about such things, if you’re sensitive to traffic noise it might not be an ideal place for you.
However, the caravan site is a perfect base for discovering all the numerous nearby walks and has the benefit of a village pub nearby for food and refreshments after a long day’s activity. The location is also excellent for cyclists with many beautiful trails nearby including the Tissington, High Peak and Monsal trails and cycle paths.
Just a short drive away, you can visit Chatsworth House, its farm shop and gardens and the prestigious Church Inn is less than a mile away. For those of you that don’t want to drive, there is also a convenient bus service to the local town within walking distance. This truly is a wonderful holiday location.
