Over recent years, the Peak District has become a popular setting for festivals of various types and sizes, so why not plan a trip here and experience one for yourself? We’ve rounded up some of the best festivals in the Peak District that are happening over the coming months, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Date: 16th June
Enjoy live music, art, wild activities and good food at this day festival set in the beautiful Erewash Valley. Organised by the Wildlife Trust, this event has been set up to raise awareness and funds for local wildlife. South of the Peak District, this festival will require a car or train journey, but promises to be well worth it.

Set in 100 acres of woodlands and lush, green countryside, this 5 star family festival is one of the most highly anticipated events in the cycling calendar. There’s something for everyone with a whole range of entertainment. This includes organised bike rides, live music, fairground rides, festival yoga, as well as a kids club!

This new festival celebrates all forms of woodland culture. Exploring music, art, philosophy and sustainability, this unique event will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Set in the beautiful countryside near Matlock, this eccentric festival is a celebration of music, the arts and… llamas! Enjoy delicious food and drink while you soak up the fun and quirky entertainment.

This hugely popular festival in the heart of the Peak District is back again for its 13th year. With music from the likes of The Libertines and Manic Street Preachers, as well as a cinema, mini golf and comedy, there will certainly be something to keep everyone entertained.
