The Old Smithy Tearooms is the former village blacksmiths, a 250 year old building full of character. The Cafe is located in the very centre of the Peak District village of Monyash right at the head of the beautiful Lathkill Dale nature reserve.
The Old Smithy is a well established, family run business hugely popular with locals and visitors alike. Offering a range of hot and cold snacks right through to full meals including the famous “Smithy’s Breakfast”.
In addition you can buy cakes and sample their award winning ice creams. Selection of speciality teas and freshly ground coffee, served by the cup, mug, pot or even PINT – perfect for the thirsty walker or cold cyclist!!
The Old Smithy is a member of the Peak Cuisine foods scheme, specialising in using locally sourced produce, which guarantees quality, freshness and value.
Fully licensed and offer a selection of beers and wines including premium draught Heineken and hand pulled real ale from the local Peak Ales Brewery, based on the Chatsworth estate.
