Hello from Farditch Farm

My name’s Nicola and I’m the new administrator for the cottages and campsite. I’ll be based in the office at Farditch Farm a couple of days a week and alternate weekends sorting out bookings and helping out with queries. Denis will be hanging out by the office door wanting tummy tickles from everyone passing.

I just moved to Buxton a few months ago though I’ve lived nearby in the Peak District for many years, mostly around the Hope Valley area. I’m looking forward to extending my knowledge of local walks and plan to share those on our blog for visitors. I’m more of a rambler than a hiker nowadays and my ideal walk is an hour or so finishing somewhere I can have a pint or a nice cup of tea. It’s great that so many pubs and cafes in the area seem to be dog friendly.

Spring 2022

We are looking forward to welcoming friends old and new to Endmoor & Farditch Farm Holiday Cottages and Caravan Park! Wharton Family – 16-18th February – Milkens Cottage

Conwy, North Wales

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Milkens Cottage! It was nice and warm, clean and very comfortable, and it had everything that we could need.

The cottages are in a perfect location for Bakewell ad Buxton, which we were very glad about what with having a 14 month old with us. It was lovely and quiet too and we enjoyed wandering around the local area.

We will definitely visit again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Bushby Family – 15-20th February – Rakes Cottage

Shropshire

Wonderfully appointed cottage in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Lovely and doggo friendly too. Freya our Golden Retriever felt at home. Can recommend the Bulls Head and the lovely café in Monyash – both doggie friendly too.

We sadly had to cut our visit short due to the monsoon weather that was storm Dennis, but I’m sure that we will be back sometime soon to explore the lovely unspoilt countryside.

Thank you once again.
